Piris said Pink Parrot “has built a strong reputation for championing high-quality family entertainment and ambitious animated projects,” adding that he looks forward to contributing to the expansion of the company’s international presence and partnerships.
At Cannes, Pink Parrot will also show exclusive material from two 3D CG animated features produced by Canada’s CarpeDiem Film & TV: “Unstable,” a whimsical adventure-comedy co-produced with U.K.-based Cantilever Productions, and “The Bottanix,” a magical comedy-adventure. Both are in production and set for 2027 delivery.
The company’s slate also includes Danish 3D CG feature “Emma & Thomas” (“Lotte & Totte”), based on Gunilla Wolde’s bestselling Scandinavian book series, and “MoMonsters: The Movie,” the first feature based on the Spanish “MoMonsters” series.
