Chelsea Handler to Host 2025 Critics Choice Awards; Ceremony to Air on E!

The Critics Choice Association (CCA) has revealed that the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards will be broadcast live on E! on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, at 7 p.m. EST, with Chelsea Handler returning to host the show. The show will be available to stream the next day on Peacock. Before the main event, E! will host a special one-hour red carpet pre-show.

Along with the comedian and TV personality Handler returning to host the awards for the third consecutive year, the star-studded event will again occur at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. It will continue its tradition of honoring achievements across film, television, and streaming.

The Critics Choice Awards are bestowed annually to honor the finest in cinematic and television achievement. Historically, they are the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations. Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment will executive-produce the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards show.

Friday, January 3, 2025 – Final ballots go out to both Film and TV Branch Members
