by · Variety

An immersive theatrical experience based on “Pirates of the Caribbean” is coming to the U.K.

Produced by Secret Cinema and TodayTix, and licensed via Disney Theatrical Group, “Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure” will sail into London in Feb. 2027 with an initial 10-week run.

Described as an “all hands on deck experience,” guests will see “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” brought to life with interactive sets, live theatrical performances, music and stunts, becoming part of the story themselves.

“Get ready for high jinks on the high seas! With epic aerial stunts, fearless swordfights and a cast of your favourite swashbuckling pirates, where better to invite audiences than raucous Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl for the ultimate cinematic adventure: ‘Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean,’” said Merritt Baer, artistic director of Secret Cinema and co-founder of TodayTix.

“Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure” is set to dock at Secret Cinema’s newly-announced flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula in London, near the O2. Tickets will go on sale from June 1, 2026.

Angelo Desimini, Disney Theatrical Group’s senior VP for licensed partnerships, added: “At Disney Theatrical Group, we are exploring bold new ways to expand our storytelling beyond the proscenium and into immersive, shared experiences. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ is a franchise powered by adventure, music, and iconic characters, making it a world that naturally invites audiences to step inside it. Secret Cinema’s extraordinary craftsmanship and narrative ambition make them an ideal collaborator. Together, we are reimagining how fans engage with this beloved property, not as spectators but as participants in a live experience that is communal, cinematic, and unmistakably Disney.”
