The original French series, titled “10 Pour Cent,” smashed ratings throughout four seasons on local broadcaster France Televisions, as well as ranked as the most watched shows on Netflix under its English title “Call My Agent.” “10 Pour Cent” was also a critical hit, winning an International Emmy Award. Along with the laurels, the show became a pop culture phenomenon and saw its key cast becoming major stars, notably Camille Cottin and Laure Calamy.

The Mediawan-produced series became a global format that has already been adapted for more than a dozen countries, including Italy, the United Kingdom, Turkey, India and Canada.

The Spanish-language adaptation will unfold at one of Spain’s biggest talent agencies and will chart the hectic lives of four agents, along with their assistants and the artists juggling conflicts, infidelities, impossible loves and crazy situations at work and at home. Faithful to “Call My Agent”‘s DNA, “La Agencia” will weave comedy and drama, portraying the main characters’ clashing egos as they rival internally to sign the best stars and close the splashiest contracts without losing sight of the goal of keeping their agency at the top in a highly competitive environment.

A remake of “Call My Agent!” is also in the works for key Hispanic American territories, co-produced by Mediawan and Eva Longoria, who will also serve as director.
