BTS Sets Slate of Book Releases, Including Korean Cookbook and Lyric Breakdown Collection

“BTS Lyrics Inside,” a new official book from the K-pop superstars, is set to be released Sept. 15 through Running Press Adult and is currently available to pre-order. The 184-page hardcover is designed as both a keepsake for ARMY and a lyric guide, breaking down the meaning, stories and personal messages behind 10 BTS songs spanning “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life” era through the group’s 2022 anthology album “Proof.”

BTS Lyrics Inside
According to the book’s official description, “BTS Lyrics Inside” includes full Hangul lyrics, romanized lines, official English notes, explanations of Korean expressions, song interpretations, interviews and commentary from RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. The songs featured in the book include “Boy With Luv,” “ON,” “Life Goes On,” “IDOL,” “FIRE,” “Magic Shop,” “We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal,” “Mikrokosmos,” “Spring Day” and “Yet to Come.”
The release is part of a new official BTS book series from Running Press, CAKE Corp. and BigHit Music. The slate will also include a “BTS Recipe Book,” which arrives the same day and focuses on Korean dishes tied to the group’s world, including recipes inspired by appearances on “Run BTS,” “Bon Voyage” and “In the Soop.” That cookbook is listed as a 256-page hardcover and features 15 dishes, including kimchi fried rice, banquet noodles, scallion pancake, Korean fried chicken, simmered rice cakes and ginseng chicken soup.

The new publishing rollout follows BTS’ 2023 oral history “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS,” which chronicled the group’s first decade, from their 2013 debut to their rise as one of the biggest pop acts in the world.
