London Film Festival Industry Forum Lineup: Danny Boyle, PC Williams, Akinola Davies Jr. and More

The BFI London Film Festival has revealed the full lineup for its Industry Forum.

Joining the previously announced Spotlight conversations with producers James Wilson and Pippa Harris, “Ink” director Danny Boyle will be interviewed live by Matt Belloni for his “The Town” podcast and costume designer PC Williams will be in conversation with her collaborator on “My Father’s Shadow,” director Akinola Davies Jr (in association with Variety).

The Industry Forum kicks off on Oct. 8 with a panel of cinema programmers — including Curzon’s Ben Lyndon, Picturehouse’s Carol McKay and BFI Imax’s Madeleine Mullett — reflecting on the state of U.K. movie theaters after a record-breaking spring-summer season. On Oct. 12, international producers lan Maher (“Everybody Digs Bill Evans”), Adrià Monés (“The End of It”), Dyveke Bjørkly Graver (“Fjord”) and Rodrigo Teixeira (“Paper Tiger,” “I’m Still Here”) will discuss their experiences with co-productions, funding opportunities and creative challenges with collaboration across different countries.

Other panels include one on working within archives to shape a storyline with Theo Rollason (“Queer Edward II”), Nanette Burstein (“Carl Sagan: We Are Made of Star Stuff”), Rafael Guendelman (“Az Zeeb”) and the BFI National Archive’s Simon McCallum; as well as a discussion showcasing exciting new voices in screenwriting hosted by Take Three program director Holly Daniel.
