Vir Das Unveils ‘I Say We Run!’ Comedy Tour With London Residency, North American Dates (EXCLUSIVE)

International Emmy-winning Indian comedian Vir Das has unveiled his “I Say We Run!” comedy tour, opening with a run of 17 shows at London’s Soho Theatre in December before moving to North America in January.

The London dates run from Dec. 7 through Dec. 23, including two-show nights on Dec. 12 and Dec. 19. The tour then crosses to North America on Jan. 15 in Ottawa, followed by stops in Toronto, Hartford, Philadelphia and New York before continuing through Ann Arbor, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Houston, Los Angeles, Monterey, San Jose and Santa Rosa.

Tickets go on sale from Sept. 23.

Das has built an international following through his Netflix specials, including “Fool Volume,” which he also directed, and “Landing,” a special that took home the 2023 International Emmy Award for Best Comedy after his 2021 nomination for “Vir Das: For India.” He has performed more than 180 shows worldwide, with a celebrated run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and headlining engagements at Carnegie Hall and London’s Eventim Apollo.

Beyond stand-up, Das created and starred in the ABC series “Whiskey Cavalier,” the Netflix thriller “Hasmukh” and Amazon’s travel series “Jestination Unknown.” He also took a role in Judd Apatow’s Netflix film “The Bubble.” Das fronts the Indian comedy-rock band Alien Chutney and is the author of the memoir “The Outsider,” which traces his path as a perpetual outsider and his use of humor to work through heartbreak and failure in pursuit of belonging.
