Larry The Cable Guy to Host Syndicated Weekly Comedy Clip Show ‘American Mayhem’ (EXCLUSIVE)
by Michael Schneider · VarietyLarry The Cable Guy has been tapped to host “American Mayhem,” a new first-run syndicated series set to launch this fall. The clip show, produced by V10 Entertainment and distributed by CBS Media Ventures, has an initial weekly order of 52 episodes.
Also, beyond syndication, V10 said another window for “American Mayhem” will be announced shortly.
“We’re excited to team up with Larry, CBS Media Ventures, and a soon to be revealed premier partner on American Mayhem, celebrating amazing creator content filmed in big cities and small towns from across the country,” said V10 Entertainment CEO John Stevens in a statement. “Larry is a comedy force and we are thrilled to share what it looks like when you add his POV to a series that you just can’t script.”

“American Mayhem” is executive produced by Larry The Cable Guy, Maggie Houlehan, Carter Skeath, Rick De Oliveira and John Stevens. CBS Media Ventures previously announced “American Mayhem” from V10 Entertainment as part of its fall syndication slate, which also includes off-net episodes of V10’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
Larry The Cable Guy most recently starred in the comedy special “It’s A Gift,” streaming on Prime Video. He also has the special “Remain Seated” on Netflix. One of the highest grossing comedians in the country. he’s known as the voice of Mater in Disney/Pixar’s “Cars” movies, including the upcoming Disney+ series “Cars Lightning Racers.” He and Jeff Foxworthy are also behind the SiriusXM comedy channel Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup.
