BookTok Sensation Quan Millz Signs With Verve (EXCLUSIVE)

Verve has signed Quan Millz, the publishing phenom behind one of BookTok’s biggest literary empires, for representation.

The agency will work with Millz to expand his catalog and audience across publishing, film, television and beyond.

The self-published author has released more than 70 books, built a multimillion-dollar business outside the traditional system and grown a loyal following on TikTok. The author and online personality currently boasts more than 1.2 million followers and 37.3 million likes on the platform and has reached more than 300 million users over the past 12 months alone.

Among his work are the books “My Psycho Baby Daddy,” “The Coldest Thug Ever,” “Pregnant By My Mother’s Gay Husband,” “My Pastor Got A Stripper Pregnant,” “This Hoe Got Roaches In Her Crib” and “Knocked Up By An AI Love Doll From Hell.” His book “Old Thot Next Door” is described as a “ratchet psychological thriller/ urban erotic psychological thriller” by the author. His unapologetically outrageous titles are just one of the reasons Millz has become a viral sensation — though popstar Lizzo did recreate a number of his book covers for Halloween last year.

In addition to the hilarious names, the novels have received thousands of positive reviews from readers, proving he has captured a devoted Gen Z audience traditional publishing struggles to reach.
