HBO 2026 Teaser: ‘Euphoria,’ ‘House of the Dragon,’ ‘Lanterns’ and Larry David’s New Show Unveil First Footage

In a new teaser, HBO Max has revealed the first footage of several of its 2026 TV projects, including buzzy titles like “Euphoria” Season 3, “House of the Dragon” Season 3, “Lanterns” and Larry David’s untitled sketch comedy series.

The “House of the Dragon” character Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) opens the teaser saying “You must decide what you want.” Later, Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) says, “Rhaenyra will do what she has to do. And what she has to do will be dire.”

Next, Zendaya’s Rue Bennett (“Euphoria”) is shown dancing with other women at a party and then alone in a church. “There’s no turning back,” she says. In another shot, she’s running down the street looking over her shoulder as though she’s being chased. “A few years after high school, I don’t know if life was exactly what I wished,” she’s heard saying later in the teaser over shots of Lexi (Maude Apatow) flashing a big grin at a table of men at a formal party, Maddy (Alexa Demie) adjusting her makeup in a mirror, Nate (Jacob Elordi) dancing in front of a TV with his shirt unbuttoned, Cassie beaming while wearing an animal costume and Jules (Hunter Schafer) leaning her head back against a seat. Then Rue is shown in the passenger seat of a car driving recklessly over a hill in a dessert landscape. In another shot, she walks up to a shirtless man in a cowboy hat with two women leaning on him on either side. Grinning, the new character says, “You walk up into my house and you don’t even introduce yourself.” Then, he’s shown from behind while shooting a gun into the sky off a balcony.

“I trained by entire life for this,” Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) says in new footage from “Lanterns,” driving a car and speaking to his John Stewart (Aaron Pierre), who’s sitting in the passenger seat. “You’re not ready to get up in front of the class until the ring says you are.” Then he jumps out of the driver’s seat and rolls onto the street as the car drives off of a cliff with John still inside.

In footage from Larry David’s untitled upcoming sketch series, he and Jerry Seinfeld are shown wearing garb from the late 1700s. “I got a really good feeling about this!” David cheers.

The teaser also includes new footae from Lisa Kudrow’s “The Comeback” Season 3 starring Lisa Kudrow, Richard Gadd’s “Half Man,” “Dune: Prophecy” Season 2 and more plus previously released footage from shows like “The Pitt” Season 2, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and “Industry.”
