‘The Vampire Lestat’ Sets After-Show at AMC+
by Joe Otterson · VarietyAMC is launching a new after-show for “The Vampire Lestat,” the third season of “Interview With the Vampire.”
Titled “The Vampire Lestat: After Dark,” the half-hour show will be hosted by Lizzie Bassett and will feature interviews with the show’s cast and creators. Among those set to appear are stars Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, and Delainey Hayles, as well as executive producer Mark Johnson and executive producer and showrunner Rolin Jones.

The after-show will launch with a special preview episode on May 24 on AMC+ before the series launch on June 7. Episodes will then air weekly on AMC+ and be available on podcast platforms the following day. Select episodes will also air on AMC, including the special preview episode on May 31, the season premiere on June 7 and season finale on July 19.
The preview episode will see Reid, Anderson, Zaman, Hayles, Bogosian, Jones and Johnson tease the new season, including behind-the-scenes insights from the set.

“The Vampire Lestat: After Dark” is produced by School of Humans and AMC Studios. Executive producers include guests Jones, Johnson, Reid, Anderson, Hayles, as well as LC Crowley, Brandon Barr, Ben Franzen, Adam O’Byrne and series showrunner Joe Randazzo.
AMC was an early pioneer of the after show format with the launch of the incredibly popular and successful “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick, which took fans behind the scenes of “The Walking Dead” franchise. That show aired for 11 seasons between 2011 and 2022.
