Mindy Kaling’s ‘Not Suitable for Work’ Sets Hulu Release Date, Drops First-Look Photos
by Joe Otterson · VarietyHulu has set the premiere date for Mindy Kaling’s new comedy series “Not Suitable for Work.”
The single-cam series will debut with its first three episodes on June 2, followed by two episodes weekly until the season finale on June 23. It will air on Hulu and and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
Hulu has also released a series of first-look images from the series, which can be seen below.

The official logline for the show states that it “centers around five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.”
The series stars Ella Hunt, Avantika, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay, and Jay Ellis. Victor Garber, Greg Germann, Judy Gold, Ego Nwodim, Harry Richardson, Constance Wu, Laura Bell Bundy, May Hong, Bhavesh Patel, Emilia Suárez and Michael Benjamin Washington are recurring guest stars.
Kaling created the series and serves as executive producer. Charlie Grandy is the showrunner and executive producer. Howard Klein of 3 Arts Entertainment also executive produces. The series is produced by Kaling International in association with Warner Bros. Television, where both Kaling and Grandy are under overall deals.
