Nurse John Sets North American Tour (EXCLUSIVE)

by · Variety

John Dela Cruz, aka Nurse John, the former healthcare worker turned comedian and social media personality, has announced a North American tour.

His “Against Medical Advice” show features all-new material about the chaos, comedy and camaraderie of working in healthcare. The tour kicks off Sept. 10 in South Carolina and extends through Dec. 27 in Hawaii.

“This show feels like trauma dumping with your best friend, family, or partner in a room full of people who not only get it, but have lived it. It’s comedy that feels like therapy!” Dela Cruz said in a statement.

He continued, “Seeing our last tour bring healthcare workers and their families together through shared laughter, chaos, and trauma bonding was incredibly powerful. This new tour, ‘Against Medical Advice,’ takes that connection even further. It’s a wild, honest, and hilarious look at the unhinged moments we all experience working with people. Whether you’re in healthcare, customer service, or any job where you’ve had to smile through absolute madness, this show is about finding humor in survival, building community through shared experiences, and reminding people they’re not alone in the chaos.”

Dela Cruz has a combined 13 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. He is represented by Logan Watkins at Select Management Group and CAA.
