Latin Alternative Music Conference Sets Dates for 2025

by · Variety

The Latin Alternative Music Conference will return for its 26th edition next summer, Variety can exclusively confirm. The five-day event will once again take place at the Intercontinental New York Times Square for a lineup of panels, workshops, showcases and more on July 8-12.

“It’s been rewarding to see the growth of the Latin Music industry and the LAMC as a yearly event over the past 26 years,” said LAMC and Nacional Records founder, Tomas Cookman. “Every year we see familiar names from our industry, but also a lot of new faces. It’s where indies, majors and the kaleidoscope of genres and artists that form what is Latin music today meet. We initially started with a focus on what was once called, ‘alternative’ but over these last two decades, what was alternative is now the mainstream. I also feel that the LAMC helps provide opportunities for the next generation of the industry to meet and learn from those that have come before them.”
