by Jem Aswad · VarietyTop agency The Team (formerly Wasserman) has named Kevin Shivers co-president of its music group. In this expanded role, Shivers will partner with music group president Lee Anderson to oversee the group’s global strategy, operations, and continued growth across all sectors of the live music business.

“Kevin is one of the most respected and beloved voices in our business. From day one of joining our company, he has made positive impacts through mentorship, strategic input, and a constant drive to improve our business,” Anderson said. “He brings a rare combination of instinct, experience, selflessness and integrity to everything he does. As we look to the future, there is no one better to help lead this group forward.”
Shivers added, “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and grateful to be stepping into this role at such an important moment for the company. What makes this place special is the people — the level of care, ambition, and belief in one another. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to continue building alongside this team and our clients around the world.”
The Team is the new (and possibly temporary) name of the music agency created upon Casey Wasserman’s acquisition of Paradigm’s music agency in 2021, which he agreed to sell earlier this year after controversy swirled around his presence in the Epstein files and his flirtatious emails with Epstein’s close associate. Ghislaine Maxwell. Yet the drama subsided once Wasserman agreed to sell the company, and it’s largely back to business as usual for the company, which has booked more artists at the 2026 Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo festivals than any other agency.
