CBS’ long-running competition show “Survivor” will be honored with the Legacy Award at the Newport Beach TV Fest on June 6. The award is in celebration of “Survivor” completing 50 seasons, recognizing the show’s cultural impact and lasting influence.

Fan-favorite players and “Survivor 50” cast members Aubry Bracco, Dee Vallardes, Ozzy Lusth, Rick Devens, Rizo Velovic and Tiffany Ervin will attend. There will also be a special video message from host and executive producer, Jeff Probst.

“For 50 seasons, ‘Survivor’ has remained one of the most influential and enduring series in television history, continually redefining the reality competition genre while captivating audiences across generations,” says Gregg Schwenk, CEO and executive director of the Newport Beach TV Fest. “From Jeff Probst’s iconic hosting to the unforgettable players and moments that have become part of pop culture, ‘Survivor’ has built an extraordinary legacy of storytelling, strategy, and human connection. We are honored to present the series with the Legacy Award and thrilled to welcome members of the ‘Survivor’ community to Newport Beach for this special celebration.”

Season 50 marked the first time in the series franchise where the fate of the game was in the hands of the viewers. Twenty-four previous contestants returned to face challenges and tribal council eliminations for a chance to win $1 million.

Held at the Lido Theater, the Newport Beach TV Fest will run June 4-7 and host a lineup of screenings and events that highlight the full spectrum of television talent, from creators to industry leaders.
