Man released without charge in Artane investigation

A man who was arrested yesterday in relation to the investigation into the death of a man at a house in Dublin has been released without charge.

A 38-year-old man was found at the house in Brookwood Heights in Artane at around 12.30am yesterday morning after gardaí were called to the scene following reports of a disturbance.

He was treated at the scene, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

A man in his 60s was arrested and questioned at a garda station in north Dublin.

He has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The scene at Brookwood Heights remains preserved and a post-mortem examination is expected to take place later today.

Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing.
