Matthew Stafford’s family suffers lice outbreak after Rams’ ‘TNF’ loss

· New York Post

Things somehow got worse for Matthew Stafford and his family following the Rams’ heartbreaking loss on Thursday.

The star quarterback’s wife, Kelly, said on Friday she and her daughters were suffering from a lice outbreak after they returned home from watching Matthew during his 38-37 defeat in Seattle.

Kelly shared footage and pictures on Instagram of professionals combing through their hair, and in one video, she wrote, “We are all in the lice removal process. Happy Friday.”

In another, she said there were “so many bugs, so many eggs.”

The procedure to get rid of the pests took over four hours, Kelly said, but she did at least find some silver lining in the tedium.

“Honestly,” she wrote in a caption on a selfie, “the removal process feels incredible.”

It’s unclear if Matthew caught a case, as Kelly merely wrote the pros checked his scalp once he got back from work.

It’s the latest tough patch for what’s been a rough couple of days for the Staffords.

First, Matthew’s favorite target, Puka Nacua, made headlines on a controversial livestream with internet star Adin Ross, which led to the wideout sending out a public apology. Then the Rams dropped an absolute heartbreaker that moved the team into second place in the NFC West standings.

Following all that, Kelly raised eyebrows by insinuating NFL referees were biased toward the Seahawks.

They’ll have plenty of time to turn their fortune around, however. The Rams don’t play again until Dec. 29, when they take on the Falcons in Atlanta.
