‘Disclosure Day’ is now streaming—How to watch Spielberg’s new movie at home

The latest movie from legendary director Steven Spielberg is now available to stream at home.

After hitting theaters in early June, “Disclosure Day” is streaming on-demand from platforms like Prime Video as of today, July 21.

“Disclosure Day” follows a television meteorologist (Emily Blunt) and a cybersecurity analyst (Josh O’Connor), who go on a mission to disclose the existence of extraterrestrial life to the world.

The film marks a return to the sci-fi genre for Spielberg, who also made alien flicks “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”

It’s also a reunion between the director and many of his longtime collaborators. The screenwriter David Koepp also wrote “Jurassic Park,” “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” “War of the Worlds” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

Behind the camera, “Disclosure Day” is the 21st collaboration between Spielberg and cinematographer Janusz Kamiński, and his 30th film with 94-year-old composer John Williams.

On the collaboration with Williams, The Post’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski wrote, “should “Disclosure Day” mark his and Spielberg’s final collaboration — their 30th — the duo goes out as masters of their craft.”

“Disclosure Day” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Disclosure Day,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Disclosure Day” whenever you want to.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.

‘Disclosure Day’ DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release date

While you can stream “Disclosure Day” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.

Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

“Disclosure Day” will be released on 4K, Blu-Ray and DVD on August 25, but you can pre-order now for release day delivery.
