Christina Applegate has shared the grueling effects of her battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

The “Dead To Me” actress, who was diagnosed with MS in early 2021, has been open about how the condition — which affects the brain and nerves — has affected her daily life and Hollywood career.

Speaking on Tuesday’s episode of her “MeSsy” podcast, Applegate spoke with her co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who also suffers from the autoimmune disease, as well as their guest of the week Rory Kandel, who also lives with the condition.

“I lay in bed screaming — like, the sharp pains, the ache, that squeezing,” Applegate, 52, said.

Kandel echoed a similar experience, saying she feels like she has “knives in my stomach.

“I’ll be laying in bed, and I wake up, and I physically can’t turn from side to side,” she added, to which the “Married… with Children” alum responded, “Every single day of my life.”

“I can’t even pick up my phone sometimes because now it’s traveled into my hands, so I’ll, like, try to go get my phone or get my remote to turn on the TV or sometimes, I can’t even hold them. I can’t open bottles now,” she went on.

Applegate previously revealed that her condition has forced her to rely on the help of a cane for mobility.

According to Mayo Clinic, MS causes a breakdown “of the protective covering of nerves,” which can result in numbness and difficulty moving around. It can also affect vision.

Applegate added that the severe pain has also impacted her ability to get out of bed in the morning.

“I put my feet on the ground and they’re hurting, like, extraordinarily bad to the touch,” she detailed.

“I was like, ‘Yep. Gonna get back in my bed and pee in my diaper because I don’t feel like walking all the way to the damn bathroom.'”

“I actually don’t lay here and pee in my bed diaper. That’s just a joke. But it’s like it’s so freaking painful and so hard and so awkward,” the “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” actress added.

Applegate’s comments come after she revealed that her 13-year-old daughter Sadie had been diagnosed with POTS.
