The 13.1-mile route took runners past the historic Brangwyn Hall, Swansea Castle, before they headed along Mumbles Road towards Knab Rock where they took their final turn back on the Promenade toward Blackpill Lane and the finishing straight.
Hundreds of the participants took the opportunity to run for various causes, sporting tops from and raising money for charities such as Cancer Research Wales, Shelter Cymru, Morgan's Army Prostate Cymru, and Wales Air Ambulance.
As well as the race itself, there was live music and entertainment zones across the course, cheer stations from community groups and a family fun run.
“This event is about much more than 13.1 miles,” said Race Director Tash Smith of Front Runner Events. “The Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon has become a celebration of Swansea itself — the energy, the community spirit, the coastline and the incredible people who come together every year, to make race day unforgettable.”
