Big Elvises, young Elvises, thin Elvises, old Elvises: Elvis Festival kicks off in Porthcawl

Elvis Presley fans have been shaking up Porthcawl this weekend for its annual celebration of the King of Rock and Roll.

The Porthcawl Elvis Festival began on Friday, transforming the seaside town into a hub of Elvis-themed performances and activities.

Around 40,000 people attend each year and you'll see from our pictures so far from the 2026 event that it's as vibrant as ever.

Elvis tribute acts pay homage to the Memphis icon by recreating his looks, moves and songs on stage.

There's also a range of live music performances, street parades and vintage car displays.
