Celebrities confirmed for Liverpool Comic Con including Hollywood legend

Comic Con Liverpool is shaping up to be an exciting event next year with Hollywood stars already announced. The fan convention is set to return next spring and will take place from Saturday, May 2 to Sunday, May 3. Thousands of fans are expected to turn out at the event over the weekend for a chance to meet some of their favourite celebrities.
Throughout the weekend, attendees can look forward to autograph signings, professional photo sessions, and live Q&A panels where stars will discuss both their past work and upcoming projects.
Comic Con fans can purchase a variety of tickets including full weekend or one day only passes. There is also the annual after party at Camp and furnace and meet and greet opportunities with your favourite stars.
For 2026, only a handful of guests have been announced so far but excitement is building. Among the celebrities announced include a Star Trek legend and Hollywood superstar. This year was a huge success for the fan convention, with some of the biggest names to dates attending.
Stars at the event last month included the likes of John Cena, Brie Larson and Emilia Clarke. We have rounded up the guests already confirmed for next spring.
Gillian Anderson
Gillian Anderson is best known for playing the role of FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the television series role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the television series The X-Files.
Her other well-known roles include Lady Dedlock in the BBC adaptation of Bleak House, DSI Stella Gibson in the crime drama The Fall, Jean Milburn in the Netflix series Sex Education, adn Margaret Thatcher in the Netflix series The Crown, for which she won a Golden Globe.

The 94-year-old actor is best known for his iconic role as Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek franchise. He is also widely recognised for his roles as Denny Crane in Boston Legal, for which he won two Emmy Awards, and T.J. Hooker in the series of the same name.
Other famous roles include the terrified passenger in the Twilight Zone episode 'Nightmare at 20,000 Feet'.

That '70s Show actress Laura Prepon has been announced for Liverpool Comic Con next year. The 45-year-old is best known for her roles as Donna Pinciotti in the sitcom That '70s Show and Alex Vause in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.
Her early success on That '70s Show made her a household name, and her role in Orange Is the New Black introduced her to a new generation of fans.

Cal Dodd
Voice actor Cal Dodd, best known for his iconic role as the voice of Wolverine in X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97, will be at next year's event.
The star also recorded the Random Virus in the BBC series Ace Lightning. Aside from being a voice actor, Cal also performed in a band in the 1970s called Deja Vu.

A Futurama star has been announced for Liverpool Comic Con next year. Organisers have announced that Billy will be among the special guests. The 73-year-old is best known for his voice work on animated shows like Futurama, where he voices Philip J. Fry, Professor Farnsworth, and Dr. Zoidberg, and The Ren & Stimpy Show, where he voiced Stimpy and, later, Ren.
The comedian is also famous for voicing the Red M&M in commercials, and for his roles in movies like Space Jam and Doug.

Phil Lamarr was one of the original featured cast members on the sketch comedy television series Mad TV, where he stayed for five seasons. His voice acting roles in animated series include the title character of Samurai Jack and John Stewart, Green Lantern, Virgil Hawkins, and Static in the DC Animated Universe. He also voices Hermes Conrad in Futurama.
In film, he has appeared in Pulp Fiction (1994), Bio-Dome (1996), Speaking of Sex (2001), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Real Steel (2011).

Joel David Moore
Joel's first major role was as Owen Dittman in the 2004 comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, followed by roles in the comedy Grandma's Boy (2006), Terry Zwigoff's Art School Confidential (2006), and the independent slasher film Hatchet (2006).
In 2009, he was cast as Dr. Norm Spellman in James Cameron's Avatar, a role he reprised for the film's sequels, Avatar: The Way of Water and Avatar: Fire and Ash, released this year.
