Chantel hosted a reunion at Arts Bar Baltic after winning Channel 4's Your Song

Channel 4 Your Song Winner Chantel reunited with her co-stars at a bar in Liverpool. The Scouser triumphed on the first ever series, which is produced by the makers of The Piano. Presented by Alison Hammond, Your Song gave amateur singers the chance to showcase their talents on TV.

The production travelled across the country in search of one standout vocalist, with advice from mentors Sam Ryder and Paloma Faith. The singers were blown away by the talent in Liverpool, and invited both Chantel, 46, who lives in the Knowledge Quarter, and Elliot, 17, from Crosby, to perform in the final at Hackney Empire.

In the end, it was Chantel's incredible rendition of Gladys Knight and The Pips' 1970s hit "Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" which led her to being awarded the "Special Performance of the Night".

Your Song aired in May this year but two months on, Chantel has arranged a reunion for the cast in Liverpool. The evening celebrated Chantel's win, but was also a celebration of music and the performers themselves.

Chantel invited the other finalists, as well as the contestants from Liverpool who also took part in the show. The singers performed at the Arts Bar Baltic on Sunday evening.
