Cunard's Queen Anne has returned to Liverpool. The luxury cruise liner has made her fourth call to the city, arriving before 8am this morning (June 17) as part of her 12-night British Isles cruise, which departed Southampton on Tuesday, June 9, and is due to return on Sunday, June 21. She is scheduled to remain in the city until 8.30pm this evening.

Queen Anne holds a special connection to Liverpool. The ship set sail for the first time on May 3, 2024, departing Southampton on her maiden voyage to Lisbon.

Just one month later, she was officially named on Liverpool’s waterfront during a historic ceremony featuring a performance from Andrea Bocelli and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. In her first full year, 78,000 guests sailed on board, with around 40% new to Cunard.

The ECHO photography team captured the huge ship from across the River Mersey in Wirral, while she was docked at Liverpool's cruise terminal. Take a look at our favourite pictures below.
