Jessie James Decker's Kids Show Off Their Abs While on New Year's Vacation

Jessie James Decker and her kids are starting the New Year off looking toned.

"2026 here we come baby!! Here's to fresh starts, full hearts, happy babies and beautiful memories to come," James Decker, 37, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 1. "My resolution is always health, happiness, and time well spent with the people who matter the most!!!"

James Decker, who shares daughter Vivianne, 11, and sons Eric Jr., 9, Forrest, 7, and Denver, 21 months with husband Eric Decker, posted a carousel of images from her family's vacation in a tropical destination. The first photo featured Vivianne, Eric Jr. and Forest on the beach rocking their swimsuits and showing off their abs. The country singer also included additional shots of the whole family enjoying time outside as well as her and Decker sharing sweet moments.

Several fans took to the comments section to applaud the children's physiques.

"Abs on Abs on Abs, God bless! Also, your family is beautiful. All the best for 2026!!" one user wrote while another replied, "The abs on the Decker fam is CRAZYYYYY 😂💪."

This isn't the first time James Decker has shown off her children's strong abdominals muscles. In November 2022, James Decker shared a family picture from another beach vacation which included her children in swimsuits.

"Vacation Decker style💪🥥🌴," she captioned the snap.

While some fans were impressed, James Decker did face some backlash for the image.

"That doesn't look right … Sorry, not sorry 🤷‍♀️," one user commented.

James Decker slammed the troll replying, "It's a sad world we live in today when having healthy fit kids who are super active, play sports [and] build muscle naturally is ‘weird.'"

Another user commented it was "strange" for a young child to have such predominant muscles which also earned a response from James Decker.

"From one mother to another. Please don't call my children's appearance strange just because they don't look the way you think they should?" James Decker wrote. "It's unkind ❤️."

Following the social media incident, James Decker has remained unapologetic about the whole snafu. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, James Decker stood by her decision and shared she was confused about the uproar.

"I think if anything I was like, ‘This is so wild.' My kids are athletic, they are outside and genetics have a big play. Like, my siblings [Sydney Rae Bass and John James] had six packs when we were kids and so did Eric and his sister," she told Us in January 2023. "They were just genetics and my kids are extremely active and I'm not gonna apologize for it. There are a lot of times where I'm not gonna speak up about things, but they're my kids and I'm a mama bear."

James Decker explained that all her kids participate in sports like her daughter's pursuit of gymnastics.

"And for me, it was ridiculous. I'm proud of them and they're very active and they have their passions with sports and performing and, like, let's encourage that," she added.
