Leonardo DiCaprio and Girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti Seen Kissing on Rare Date
· The Fresno BeeLeonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, are celebrating the holidays with plenty of PDA.
DiCaprio, 51, and Ceretti, 27, were spotted on a rare date while shopping in Los Angeles on Friday, December 26, according to photos obtained by TMZ. The couple, who twinned in black athleisure, kissed in a Melrose Place boutique.
DiCaprio and Ceretti have been together since 2023.
"Vittoria is all he thinks about," a source exclusively told Us Weeklyin November 2023, noting the Oscar winner is "completely smitten."
The couple often keep their relationship under wraps, with Ceretti only making her first comments on the romance earlier this year.
"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become ‘girlfriend of' - or ‘boyfriend of,' for that matter, and that can be extremely annoying," the model told Vogue France in a cover story published in April. "Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex. So it's not nice to think that you can't love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you."
According to Ceretti, she initially met DiCaprio when they were both in Milan but didn't want to get "into details."
DiCaprio, for his part, has a star-studded dating history and long played coy about whether he ever planned to settle down or get married.
"I would never answer that question," DiCaprio said during a December 2018 interview on 60 Minutes Australia. "I'm sure it will be [in the cards one day]."
While staying mum about his love life, the actor often focuses on discussing his prolific Hollywood career and philanthropic endeavors.
"I strive to be the best actor I can [and] whether I've achieved that is always up to the audience," he said on 60 Minutes Australia. "I don't have the power over that, and that's one thing about making movies that's always frightening and exhilarating, is that you can go into with the best possible intent, work as hard as you possibly can, and people, for whatever reason, may just disconnect with the movie."
He continued at the time, "All you can do is show up on set, and work as hard as you possibly can, and that I can say that I do."
DiCaprio most recently starred in One Battle After Another as a former revolutionary who must return to his roots to save his kidnapped daughter.
"It's very pertinent to today," DiCaprio told Variety earlier this month of One Battle After Another. "It was based on Vineland, but [director Paul Thomas Anderson] made his own rendition. The idea of a guy who was a revolutionary trying to assimilate himself in the modern world, with a daughter that he didn't connect to, giving up on life was something that had been permeating in his mind for a long time."
DiCaprio's onscreen daughter, played by Chase Infiniti, also had a tumultuous relationship with her mother (Teyana Taylor).
"It was hinted at in the script, this idea of me loving our baby more than her," he mused to the outlet. "Her being jealous of the baby."
