Maya Hawke secretly said "I do" to Christian Lee Hutson on Valentine's Day 2026 after nearly three years of dating.

Hawke and Hutson wed in February 2026 in New York City, per photos obtained by multiple outlets.

While the newlyweds never publicly confirmed their engagement, they were first romantically linked in 2023.

"I cannot recommend highly enough dating your friends. It's the best," Hawke gushed of finding love with Hutson on a 2024 episode of The Zach Sang Show. "They know you, and as a human being who has dated other people. They really know you as a person who has feelings … not just a piece of paper for them to project their image of [the] perfect girlfriend onto. It's the best to feel seen in that way."

"I usually start with a melody that pops into my head," Hutson told AcousticGuitar.com in a July 2025 profile of his songwriting process. "These days I have melodies happening while I'm asleep, in my dreams. When there's one that's really strong, it will wake me up. Then, I'll record myself singing that melody, and slowly figure out what chord changes I want to put over it. I think about things a lot in terms of bass and melody. My thumb will try and find a nice bass line, and my other fingers find the melody."
