Ahead of the Dragon Age The Veilguard release date, we were lucky enough to get a seven-hour hands-on preview with the RPG game. We’ve had a dig through of each of the Dragon Age The Veilguard classes, skills, and specializations to see which weapon types we’ll be wielding in the upcoming game.

Dragon Age The Veilguard weapon types

Each class can hold three weapons including a main hand, off-hand, and alternate weapon. Depending on your class, the weapons vary, and include two-hand and one-handed weapons, as a shield can also be equipped for the more defensive classes.

These weapons can be bought from vendors in various faction stores, with more items available depending on your reputation with each faction. You can also find weapons out in the world in chests or from boss and enemy drops.

Items and weapons also come in rarities ranging from uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary, and have different stats such as the type of damage it inflicts and properties which act like weapon perks, providing things like damage bonuses.
