Wild Horse Fire burns more than 400 acres in Millard County

LEAMINGTON, Millard County — Crews are battling a large wildfire southwest of Leamington in Millard County.

The Wild Horse Fire sparked around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. It was estimated at 400 acres and was continuing to grow, according to Utah Fire Info.

Officials said gusty winds are driving the fire through grass and sagebrush. However, no structures are threatened at this time.

A video posted on Utah Fire Info's social media page shows a huge plume of smoke near the mountain, with flames visible.
