Paul Mescal & Jessie Buckley To Attend Irish Premiere Of Hamnet!

It's going to be a big Irish welcome home!

Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley are coming home to Ireland to promote their upcoming film, Hamnet.

The Irish stars will hit the red carpet for the acclaimed Shakespeare drama at the Light House Cinema, Dublin this Saturday.

Director and co-screenwriter Chloé Zhao and author Maggie O’Farrell will also be in attendance.

The films synopsis reads: "After losing their son Hamnet to plague, Agnes and William Shakespeare grapple with grief in 16th-century England. A healer, Agnes must find strength to care for her surviving children while processing her devastating loss."

Earlier this week, both Paul and Jessie received Golden Globe nominations for their "emotional" performances.

Jessie was shortlisted for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, while Paul was nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Hamnet is set to drop to cinemas the 9th of January, 2026 - So set your alarms!
