Cillian Murphy attended the Irish premiere of Small Things Like These at the Lighthouse Cinema last night.

The Oscar winner was all smiles as he stepped out on the red carpet with his co-star Eileen Walsh to promote his new film based on the best-selling novel by Claire Keegan, Small Things Like These.

The story follows a coal merchant working to support his family, as he discovers disturbing secrets kept by the local convent— and uncovers truths of his own — forcing him to confront his past and the complicit silence of a small Irish town controlled by the Catholic Church.
