Natasha Lyonne 'doing whole lot better' after substance-abuse relapse
by Karen Butler · UPIMarch 21 (UPI) -- Poker Face, Orange is the New Black and Russian Doll actress Natasha Lyonne offered a social media update this week about her ongoing battle for sobriety.
"Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet. Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive," Lyonne wrote on X.
"Aiming to keep the journey somehow private, but look forward to sharing my experience, strength & hope as makes sense. My heart is with everyone ever going through it."
The actress, writer and filmmaker announced in January that she had suffered a relapse in her recovery from drug and alcohol addiction after nearly a decade of sobriety.
"Recovery is a lifelong process," she said at the time. "Anyone out there struggling, remember you are not alone."
