Minnie Driver to star in new heist series 'The Day'
by Karen Butler · UPIApril 7 (UPI) -- The Serpent Queen and Emily in Paris actress Minnie Driver has signed on to star in a new Paramount+ heist thriller, The Day.
"New job. Clever scripts, sharp characters. I think you will like it," Driver wrote on Instagram Monday, alongside a screenshot of a media story announcing her casting in the project.
Also included in the ensemble are Luca Pasqualino from Skins and Louisa Harland from Derry Girls.
The eight-part,perspective-shifting drama -- based on the Belgian series, De Dag -- is now in production.
