April 8 (UPI) -- Uma Thurman will return to star in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2.

Paramount+ announced in a press release Wednesday that Thurman, 55, will reprise Charley in the upcoming season of the Dexter sequel series.

Dexter: Resurrection follows vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) and his son Harrison (Jack Alcott). Season 1 introduced Thurman's Charley, a former special ops officer working for a sinister billionaire (Peter Dinklage).

Paramount+ previously announced Succession actor Brian Cox will join Season 2 as the New York Ripper, a serial killer who terrorized the city years ago.

Dexter: Resurrection premiered on Paramount+ with Showtime in July 2025 and was renewed for a second season that October. The series marks Thurman's first starring TV role since 2022.
