NAACP Image Awards: How to watch, what to expect
by Karen Butler · UPIFeb. 28 (UPI) -- Comedian Deon Cole is set to host the 57th NAACP Image Awards, celebrating excellence in entertainment, at California's Pasadena Civic Auditorium Saturday.
How to watch
The event is to air at 8 p.m. E.T. on BET and CBS, and across Paramount networks such as BET HER, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, PN, Pop, Smithsonian, TV Land, and VH1.
Honorees
Viola Davis will be presented with the Chairman's Award and Colman Domingo will be recognized with the President's Award.
Salt-N-Pepa and DJ Spinderella also will be inducted into the NAACP Hall of Fame.
Presenters
Confirmed to hand out awards are Chase Infiniti, Delroy Lindo, NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson, Halle Bailey, Janelle James, NAACP Chairman Leon W. Russell, Miles Caton, Nicole Beharie, Rege-Jean Page, Regina Hall, Ryan Coogler, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Sterling K. Brown, and the cast of Tyler Perry's Sistas.
