Reality TV sensation Ferne McCann has opened up about her decision to end her popular ITVBe series, 'Ferne McCann: My Family And Me'. The 34 year old star, who first welcomed viewers into her life as a new single mum in 'First Time Mum', has been a familiar face on our screens, sharing the highs and lows of motherhood and her journey with her fiancé Lorri Haines and daughters Sunday, aged six, and one year old Finty.

After seven years, Ferne has chosen to say goodbye to the show that followed her family's adventures, citing a heartfelt reason for her departure. Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards, she shared with the Mirror: "It was one of the most difficult decisions of my life."

She continued, explaining her choice was made with her children's best interests at heart: "Its been in my life for seven years but I made this decision for Sunday and for my children. I want them to just have a break and be children for a while."

Last month, Ferne took to Instagram to confirm the news to her fans, expressing her gratitude: "After an incredible 13 series I have made the very difficult decision that this series of @fernemyfamandme will be my last."

Ferne McCann has expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support during her seven-year journey on the show, from her pregnancy with daughter Sunday to the present moment. "This show has been such an incredible part of my life for the last seven years and what a ride it has been filming from being pregnant with Sunday to now. Your support and loyalty to me and my family has, at times, lifted me more than you will ever know. Thank you."

While Ferne is ensuring her children remain away from the public eye, she's eagerly gearing up for her stint on Dancing On Ice this January.

As she chats about her intensive training, she conveys her thrill: "I'm excited to be walking - or skating should I say - into Dancing On Ice."

She shares her interactions with Ekin-Su, revealing, "I just saw Ekin Su and asked her to tell me about how I'm going to be show ready in time."

Despite being candid about the struggles with training, "I'm waiting for it to click. It's so hard," she adds.

Furthermore, the doting mum reveals an adorable anecdote involving her daughter Sunday, who curiously inquired "Am I going to see you in real life," showcasing her anticipation for her mum's performances. Ferne reassures that her kids will be able to watch her practice sessions.

Sharing more on her family's involvement, Ferne enthuses, "That's what's going to be so exciting about this - this is my first show that the whole family are going to enjoy. It's such a family show where Sunday can come along, my grandad, my mum..." Her optimism seems to battle with reality as she admits to current challenges, concluding, "I really want to be positive but at the moment I can't do a lot of the stuff and I'm getting very frustrated! I just want to trust the process. I can't see how I'm skating now how I'm going to be show ready come January! So just pray for me! ".
