Pervert, 32, left young woman in panic after daytime sex act on bus
Roy Thomas has been locked up for his sick crimes
by Annabal Bagdi, https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/authors/annabal-bagdi/ · Birmingham LiveA pervert who left his victim in a panic when he performed a sick sex act next to her during a daytime bus ride has been locked up. Sex offender Roy Thomas told the woman "come over here baby girl and give me a b******" while staring at her on the bus.
His vile act - which took place just after midday - left her so 'disgusted' she had a panic attack. She now feels 'terrified' when strangers walk towards her in the street.
Just one month later, Thomas left two young children 'distressed' when he exposed himself to them outside their home. The girls were so upset that their dad initially thought their screams were over a spider.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard how an 18-year-old woman was on a bus heading into Wolverhampton city centre at about 12.15pm on January 18, 2022. She was sitting on the top deck, on the first row of seats, when Thomas sat next to her.
The victim noticed the defendant staring at her for about five minutes, prosecutor Olivia Appleby said. In the reflection of the bus window, she then spotted him 'moving his hands'.
She turned to look at Thomas and saw that his jeans were unbuttoned and he was performing a sex act while staring at her. The 32-year-old then repeatedly told his victim: "Come over here baby girl and give me a b******."
The woman got off the bus about 10 minutes later, while Thomas remained on it. In a statement read to the court, the woman said she had a panic attack following her encounter with the sex offender.
She has since felt 'constantly anxious', 'scared' and uneasy around new people - especially men. The victim said: "Immediately after the incident, I felt disgusted and just wanted to go to my safe space."
The court heard how a dad was at home when he heard his young daughters 'screaming' upstairs at about 2.30pm on February 20. He presumed it was about a spider but then one of the girls ran downstairs 'crying and shouting'.
The child told her father: "Oh my god, this man has his w**** out". His other daughter then said a man standing outside had been 'smiling and waving' at her.
The dad and his partner spotted Thomas in woods near their home, holding a can of beer in one hand and a bag with more beer in the other. They confronted the convict and asked if he had exposed himself in front of the children.
Thomas denied he had, instead claiming he had Asperger's syndrome and a bladder problem. When the couple returned home, their daughter said that Thomas had exposed himself while standing behind a van and that she had seen him the day before.
The defendant had 12 convictions for 29 offences including sexual assault and exposure, the court heard on September 19. He was first made subject to a sexual harm prevention order in 2012.
It was updated in February 2019 with a condition prohibiting him from unzipping, loosening or removing his trousers, shorts or any other garment covering his genitalia in a public place. Piarra Singh, defending, said Thomas is 'very ashamed of himself'.
The convict - of no fixed abode - has taken part in a 'mindset course' while on remand to 'really get to the bottom of his offending'. Mr Singh added: "It's quite clear that this defendant is mentally unwell."
Sentencing, Judge Michael Chambers KC said Thomas has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and learning difficulties. Thomas admitted exposure and two counts of breach of a sexual harm prevention order. He was jailed for two years and must sign the sex offenders register for 10 years.
