During the final of The Voice UK, Sir Tom Jones' appearance caught the attention of viewers, with fans describing him as "handsome" and "dapper."

The Welsh crooner has been a mainstay on the show's coaching panel for almost every season since 2012.

The star, who has no plans to step down in the near future, joined his fellow judges on stage for an opening performance of Fortune Son.

The 84-year-old, who appears to defy the ageing process, quickly drew comments from fans online. One fan commented on X: "Good luck team, Tom. You look so handsome," according to the Express.

Another added: " You look very dapper and handsome, Sir Tom. I love the jacket. Good luck xx."

Saturday night marked the dramatic finale of The Voice UK. Deb Orah, Storry, Ava, and Billy and Louie competed for the title and the ultimate prize. However, it was Ava who was declared the 2024 winner.

Before Emma Willis announced the 2024 winner, Sir Tom shared with Ava one of his career regrets.

Referring to the song she performed, Sir Tom revealed: "I've got a story about that song.

"I was having a drink with Paul McCartney in the late '60s, and I said, 'Paul, I'd love you to write me a song,' and he said, 'Okay' and all of a sudden, my recording manager came to the house and he said, 'Paul McCartney has sent you the song that he promised to write you'."

"So I put it on, and it was The Long and Winding Road. Honestly, we couldn't get it out in time because I had a song coming out."

He added: "But I have always loved that song, and every time I hear anybody do it, I am thinking, 'Oh my god, I should have recorded that song'."

Ava, as the winner, will join the ranks of previous seasons' victors, including Leanne Mitchell, Molly Hocking, and Kevin Simm.

Despite not winning the show in 2014, Becky Hill is arguably The Voice UK's most significant success story. The 30-year-old was part of Jessie J's team and made it to the competition's semi-final.

The dance floor queen has worked with some of the world's top DJs, including David Guetta, MK, Oliver Heldens, Joel Corry, and Wilkinson.

The Voice is available to watch on the ITV Hub.
