by · Birmingham Live

Return to Paradise, a fresh take on the Death in Paradise format, is set in Australia - but when will it premiere?

Beyond Paradise, the first spin-off from Death In Paradise, saw Kris Marshall return as DI Humphrey Goodman, taking up a detective role in Devon, the childhood town of Martha (played by Sally Bretton).

Now, another spin-off is coming, this time following London Metropolitan police officer DI Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson), who finds herself returning home to Australia. However, not everyone is pleased about her return.

Return to Paradise release date

The first trailer for the new series was released in the summer, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its start for months.

The wait is nearly over, with Return to Paradise set to premiere on Friday, November 22, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
