PS5's Welcome Hub Adds Animated The Last of Us Wallpaper
It can't be for nothing
by Sammy Barker · Push SquareSony’s Welcome Hub – the customisable screen you see upon booting your PS5 – has added a new animated The Last of Us wallpaper.
I assume this has been released to celebrate The Last of Us Day, and was first spotted by our very own Rich33, so kudos to him for pointing this out to me.
The background shows artwork from The Last of Us 1 and The Last of Us 2, with a few animated flourishes like flying birds and lightning flashes.
It’s not my favourite Welcome Hub wallpaper – I use the changing seasons one – but fans of Naughty Dog’s seminal action adventure may fancy equipping it.
If you’ve not faffed with the Welcome Hub for a while, remember it’s got a new widget now, showing the most played games on the PS5.

I spy Aniimo, the temptation is strong with that one. The animated wallpaper isn't bad either.
