Zendaya responds to speculation she has secretly married fiancé Tom Holland

Zendaya has responded to speculation that she has secretly married her fiancé Tom Holland.

In recent weeks, the Challengers actress has been spotted wearing a discreet gold band on her ring finger, rather than her diamond engagement ring.

Zendaya has been seen wearing the simple band on several occasions, including at Louis Vuitton’s show during Paris Fashion Week.

Rumours of a secret wedding began earlier this month, when Law Roach – fashion stylist and a close friend of Zendaya – teased that the couple were already married.

Appearing on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1, Law Roach told Access Hollywood: “You missed it. The wedding has already happened.”

A few weeks on from the speculation, Zendaya has now subtly addressed the rumours.

On Thursday, the 29-year-old attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood event.

During the ceremony, host Marsai Martin asked the Dune star if she would be able to send the happy couple a wedding gift.

“Just give me a little nod or a little signal to let me know when I should send it,” Marsai teased, in footage obtained by PEOPLE.

The camera in the room then panned to Zendaya, who held up both of her hands in front of her face in embarrassment. In doing so, she confirmed that she was still wearing a ring band.

“Something like ‘T&Z’ monochrome towels, it’s really cute. You can put it in whatever house y’all are in. Just give me a little sign, you know?” Marsai exclaimed, as Zendaya simply laughed in response.

Tom and Zendaya met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, but didn’t go public with their romance until 2021, following years of dating rumours.

Last January, the pair confirmed engagement rumours after Zendaya was seen flashing a massive diamond ring on her ring finger at the 2025 Golden Globes.
