Freddy Brazier announces birth of first child with nod to his late mother Jade Goody

Freddy Brazier has announced the birth of his first child.

Freddy – the 21-year-old son of reality star Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody – has confirmed that he has welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, Holly Swinburn.

The couple – who recently confirmed that they had rekindled their romance – are now parents to a bouncing baby girl.

Freddy and Holly took to Instagram on Friday to share their little one’s arrival, and to also reveal her name.

At the time, the new parents posted a black-and-white selfie of them cradling their newborn in hospital.

Alongside the image, Freddy and Holly penned: “Isla Jade Brazier”.

Their daughter’s middle name is a sweet reference to Freddy’s late mother, Jade Goody.

The former Big Brother star passed away in 2009 at the age of 27, after being diagnosed with cervical cancer. Freddy was just four years old at the time of his mother’s death.

Freddy and Holly first met on TikTok in June of last year. Two months later, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.

In November, reports surfaced that the pair had ended their romance. However, earlier this year, it was confirmed that they had rekindled their relationship.

During her pregnancy, Holly confessed that she wants her child to grow up with “privacy”, and does not intend to document her little one’s life on screen.

In a video posted on TikTok, the 22-year-old stated: “I was exploited on the internet, and I learned from it.

“My child will grow up with privacy, dignity, and safety – not as content, and definitely not as a documentary about their father’s life,” she added.
