Olivia Attwood and Pete Wicks have sparked romance rumours after they were spotted getting cosy during a night out.

In January, former Love Island finalist Olivia confirmed that she had separated from her footballer husband Bradley, after over two years of marriage.

The couple had been plagued by split speculation since last summer, and Olivia had previously admitted that they had become “ships in the night.”

Following the news of her split, the 34-year-old has now sparked romance rumours with her best pal Pete Wicks.

Despite previously insisting they were just friends, in footage obtained by The Sun, the pair appeared to share a kiss as they enjoyed a night out in Soho, London.

A friend of the couple told the outlet: “They have been spending a lot of time together and an unexpected romance has blossomed from friendship.”

The friend added: “Their passionate romance only started in the last few weeks, since she has split from Bradley, there was no overlap.”

“Olivia’s close friends know about this new development and are pleased Pete has put a smile back on her face.”

“He has been a shoulder to cry on and there for Olivia during this really tough time. She has been in the depths of a really horrible break-up and Pete has helped her through it.”

“They have got closer, and Pete has held a torch for Olivia for a really long time. She is hurting and vulnerable, and he was in the right place at the right time,” the source added.

The friend continued: “They get on really well and are taking it slow; there is no label at the moment.”

The pair have known each other for nearly a decade, and both starred on TOWIE in 2019.

In August of last year, the pair sparked conversation after a wild trip to Ibiza. 

The pair made sure to let their hair down during the trip, and Pete was papped with his arm around a bikini-clad Olivia on a yacht in Formentera.

According to The Sun, the photos of Olivia and Pete were shared in Gillingham FC’s WhatsApp group by Bradley’s teammates, which didn’t go down well with the sports star.

An insider told the newspaper: “Bradley’s getting so much stick about the pictures from his teammates.”

“They know Brad and Liv are happily married, but couldn’t resist winding him up about what she’s been getting up to on holiday. Bradley’s tried to laugh it off, but inside he’s fuming about it,” the source said at the time.

“He trusts Liv but Pete having his hands over his wife while she’s wearing a bikini isn’t a great look. He’s livid with her for putting him in this position.”

However, at the time, a source close to Olivia insisted: “There is no issue between Olivia and Bradley.”

“Olivia and Pete have been close friends for many years, and they were in Ibiza together for KISS weekend where they were recording their podcast live and on the boat, including their podcast producer and team.

“They were all just letting off steam!” they added.
