The First Baywatch Trailer Is Out!

 Baywatch is back! The upcoming reboot follows Stephen Amell as the now grown-up Hobie Buchannon, played by heartthrob Jeremy Jackson in the original series. Just like the original, the reboot is set on the picturesque coast of Southern California and is steeped in drama, romance, and high-stakes rescues. It replaces famous icons Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff with a mix of experienced actors and internet personalities. 

Joining the cast is Jessica Belkin, playing Buchannon’s daughter Charlie, along with TikTok stars Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne, and Brooks Nader of Love Thy Nader. They join the steamy lifeguard clique along with seasoned actors Hassie Harrison of Yellowstone and Shay Mitchell of Pretty Little Liars.

Buzz surrounding the show grows along with the conversation about bringing in new talent. Brooks Nader is coming off the success of her family’s reality show Love Thy Nader, which has been renewed for a second season. She also made headlines throughout the summer for her clothing choices…or rather the lack thereof. Nevertheless, there’s no one better to bring the heat than Nader. Similarly, Livvy Dunne and Noah Beck grew their following online. Both have limited acting experience so their inclusion in Baywatch comes as a bit of a wild card. But the cast is rounded out with a few familiar faces from the original series: Erika Eleniak, David Chokachi, Kelly Packard, and Michael Bergin. 

FOX brings Baywatch back to the screen starting in January at a TBD date, with episodes available the next day on Hulu.
