American Idol alumna and vintage fashion model Inessa Lee is into biohacking. The influencer frequently shares holistic beauty hacks with her Instagram subscribers: “I’ve been studying oriental medicine since I was 7 when my mom brought Ayrveda book home. Later I’ve learnt rejuvenation secrets from the most renowned oriental practitioners in Los Angeles,” – Inessa says.
For Inessa beautification is not about cosmetic products but rather about internal balance. She recommends starting every morning with a glass of warm water and wearing warm socks throughout the day. The singer also believes in the powers of foot soaks before bedtime. According to Lee, adding half a cup of baking soda and 10 drops of lavender oil to the foot soak improves sleep quality, complexion and detoxes liver.
Inessa recommends drinking a glass of Baimudan tea before bedtime for rejuvenation and restful sleep. Also white peony tea boosts skin moisture giving it healthy glow as it naturally stabilizes female hormone levels. The influencer swears by gua sha face massage as one of the best tools for lymph drainage and blood circulation. It’s a well-known fact that good blood flow is essential for skin elasticity and collagen production.
Inessa Lee often outlines the importance of balanced nutrition in maintaining slim figure and good health at the same time. According to the influencer, avocado retains water in the body and therefore contributes to cellulite formation, whereas white rice drains excessive fluid and promotes urination. Unlike most beauty bloggers and models, Inessa loves eating carbs. She believes that carbohydrates are necessary for maintaining healthy metabolism and youthful skin, even though consuming too much potatoes leads to weight gain and cellulite.
The model condemns protein powders, but believes in the power of beans and peas as a natural source of plan protein. Interestingly, Inessa is not a big fan of gym workouts and jogging. She prefers dancing and stretching to some popular types of exercise. However, she takes at least 5,000 steps a dayto stay fit. Perhaps, that’s why Inessa can boast such a perfect figure adorning international magazine covers.
