Jennifer Lopez is opening up about a grueling stretch early in her career that left her physically depleted after working nonstop for more than three months.

During the June 15 episode of the "SmartLess" podcast with Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, the 56-year-old actress and singer recalled a period when she worked 98 consecutive days without a break.

At the time, Lopez said she was juggling major projects, including filming the 2002 psychological thriller "Enough" while also promoting her second album, "J.Lo."

Looking back, she said she counted the days and realized she had gone nearly 100 days without any time off work.

The demanding schedule eventually took a toll on her health.

“I sat down and all of a sudden I just couldn’t see,” Lopez said. “Like something just went over my eyes and I couldn’t move.”

She said she was taken to the hospital, where doctors told her her body had essentially shut down due to exhaustion.

Lopez has since spoken about the importance of balance after pushing herself to extremes early in her career.

The actress recently wrapped a press tour for her latest film, “Office Romance.”
