The AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas is hosting a free event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Center recently announced that Latinidad, the kickoff event for our 2026/2027 Festival Series, will happen Saturday, Oct. 3 in Strauss Square in front of the venue from 6 to 10 p.m.

Latinidad is a growing community tradition serving one of North Texas' largest communities—Hispanic and Latino residents, who make up nearly one-third of the population here.

Organizers of the event said Latinidad was also recently named one of the "Top Free Autumn Experiences" families are looking forward to in Texas by financial media company MarketBeat, an important factor for North Texans looking for free, family-friendly entertainment that doesn't add to the financial pressures they're already feeling in this tough economy.

The fifth annual celebration will have food, dance, music, and cultures of Latin America brought together by the Hispanic and Latino communities in North Texas.
