54th annual Fort Worth Mayfest runs Thursday through Sunday

There will be carnival rides, performing arts, live demonstrations, stilt walkers and more than 135 vendors

Mayfest returns to Fort Worth with free children's activities, special attractions and seven stages of entertainment.

Thursday activities run from 3:30 to 9 p.m and is free for all. Hours vary by day.

Ticket prices vary by day and age of attendee.

Military members (active, reserve, retired, and veterans) get in free all weekend with a valid military ID.

The four-day festival covers 33 acres in Trinity Park (2400 Trinity Park Dr.)

The Fort Worth Animal Care & Control booth will be on site with adoptable shelter and foster pets.

They expect more than 175,000 attendees across the weekend.

A portion of the net proceeds from Mayfest supports the community through projects, programming, and community improvements in partnership with three of Mayfest’s founding organizations – The City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department, Streams & Valleys, Inc., and The Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc.

Parking is available at Farrington Field and Dickies Arena Yellow Lot.

Trams are available from the parking lots to the festival entrances.

Mayfest is a Cashless event, however, the Art & Gift Market vendors and Texas Lottery accept cash.
