Petro Rabigh announces resignation of non-executive board member

Riyadh — Mubasher: Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) announced that non-executive board member Othman bin Ali Al Ghamdi has resigned from his position, according to a bourse disclosure.

Petro Rabigh elaborated that the resignation was submitted on 29 October and became effective as of 31 October 2026.

Al Ghamdi first joined the board on 3 November 2024. During his tenure, he served as the company’s CEO and Chief Administrative Officer until 31 August 2026.

The company stated that his departure is due to him taking on new professional duties and responsibilities.

The board of directors expressed appreciation for Al Ghamdi’s contributions during his membership, specifically noting his leadership during significant transitional phases in the company's history.

Petro Rabigh confirmed it will announce the appointment of a replacement board member at a later date.
